Bifocal Antagonism
Bifocal Antagonism – Used in reference to the ideological rift between worldviews and within philosophy of mind in which each side views the others worldview as clearly wrongheaded, pathological, and even dangerous. Within MSR, it is suggested that this conflict reveals the underlying nature of awareness itself as a perceptual relativity in which focusing narrowly on one ideal tends to represent the opposite ideal in a hostile and absurd light.
